For us, it’s all about discovering and sharing exceptional French wines made with great respect for nature, region and tradition. We supply wines from small-scale estates that work as naturally as possible with minimal intervention. One such winemaker is our own Domaine de Juchepie, in the heart of the Loire. Eddy and Mileine Oosterlinck are convinced biodynamical farmers, whose efforts do result in flawless wines which display an exceptional finesse and elegance.

Domaine de Juchepie

Juchepie & Friends was created as a distribution-platform for Domaine de Juchepie, a small estate located on a ridge in the heart of Coteaux du Layon. In 1985, Flemish born Eddy and Mileine Oosterlinck bought a holiday-home with some vineyards in the village of Faye-d’Anjou. What started as a hobby, grew soon to become a small wine-estate. More vines were bought, a cellar and chai were build, and in 2001 Eddy and Mileine moved definitely to Faye. Domaine de Juchepie then officially saw the light of day. Since then, it has been known for its mineral and noble-sweet wines with an extremely precise and delicate bouquet, based on the versatility of the Chenin grape. In doing so, the winemaker lets nature take its course as much as possible, with minimal intervention. In Juchepie’s philosophy, the well-being of the plant is central. Juchepie’s vineyards have been farmed organically since 1994. Since 2007, the entire production process has been biodynamic. All the grapes are handpicked, and pressed with vertical handpresses, for the grapes to be treated as gently as possible. That Eddy and Mileine do an outstanding job is proven by the worldwide distribution of Juchepie. The acclaimed wines are on the table in several top restaurants, from France, Germany and Switzerland to Japan and the US.
