Champagne Hugues Godmé

Hugues Godmé’s champagnes are of the purest and finest you can find. This prestigious house is located in the heart of the mythical Montagne de Reims, with vineyards scattered throughout Premier and Grand Cru villages of Verzenay, Villers-Marmery, Verzy and Ville-Dommange. All terroirs with unique limestone and clay soils, offering ideal conditions for growing the region’s main grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
Wine making at Hugues Godmé is an extremely careful and meticulous process, which takes place in total harmony with nature. The champagne house has made it its mission to produce in the most environmentally conscious way possible, to the rhythm of plant and season, paying particular attention to biodiversity and the unique characteristics of soil and climate. In 2006 they started working organically, since 2013 everything is done biodynamically. Today that vinification process results in 12 diverse cuvées that bring out all the power and subtleties of their terroirs, with an aromatic palette that ranges from fresh fruit over floral notes to hints of brioche and honey.
